Isaiah 40:28-31

Today's Bible verse on strength comes from the Book of Isaiah.

"Hast thou not know? has though not heard, that the everlasting God,

the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth fainteth not, neither is

weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power

to the faint, and to them that have no might he increases strength.

Even youths shall faint and be weary and all the young men shall

utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their

strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they

shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."

The part that I highlighted in fuchsia was because this stood out to me the most. That if you just wait for God to renew your strength, instead of just trying to do it on your own and not lean on Him, you won't have the amazing strength that He wants you to have. You can run and never be tired with the strength of the Lord.

I hope that all my readers out there take this verse and that it gives you the strength you need to come out of whatever problems are going on in your life, and if it is too much for you to handle please seek advice and help. It isn't worth trying to fight things on your own, especially if you know it's going to harm someone else or yourself. If anyone knows of some one who is having thoughts of suicide or is cutting please reach out for help. Comment on my blog and I can help find you the right place to turn, talk to a parent, teacher, anyone. Just please seek help. I pray that if anyone is bullying someone and that's what causing all this that it ends, because in the end it isn't worth it. Bullies you don't know what someone is going through. Please don't pick on someone because their dad could be fighting in the military and they just found out something terrible happened to his unit and don't know if he's okay. Or their parents were in a horrible attack on the United States and they don't know if they are okay (yes I'm using a 9/11 reference with tomorrow being the anniversary of the horrible attacks in 2001.)

A new twist

So my blog is taking a new twist. It's titled my final semester, which is being changed. I'm now going to start doing daily Bible verses on here. It's going to be all on strength. So here it goes:

All these verses will be based on strength and things that I have been learning through my personal Bible study that I started back in July and am still continuing to do to this very day. Today's verse comes from 2 Chronicles 16:9

" For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro

throughout the whole earth, to show

himself strong in the behalf of them whose

heart is perfect towards him. Herein

thou hast done foolishly: therefore

from hence forth thou shalt have wars."

This came from the King James Version. If you want to do this daily study from my readings feel free to. I have the websites where I obtained most of these verses others just came from other things. If you would like the link to jump ahead comment and I'll give it to you.

Graudation Application

Hello all. Yesterday, I turned in my application for graduation. It's officially due Feb. 3 so I was able to get it in early. I have to wait a month in order to get my cap and gown, my tickets and to find out which day I'm graduating, but this is still such an amazing feeling. I'm ready to get out of college, it's been 5 long years.

Prepraing for my last semester

Hello everyone,
This is my last weekend before school starts. I can't believe that this is my last weekend before school ever. Well at least in my undergrad year! I can't believe that I'm almost done with school. I'm taking two amazing classes! One is Modern Jewish Civilization and the other is Media in Politics. Plus I have an internship at Lynn University! It's going to be such an awesome experience. The only downfall is I have to miss the first class in Modern Jewish Civilization due to Jury Duty. But that's okay! I can't believe that this is all coming to an end! I look forward to writing every day and releasing my stress about this final semester! I can't believe it's finally here. Well I'll blog more when I have more to write about. It's almost here

My Transformation Kit should be arriving today! Which means I'm starting my shakes tomorrow morning! I can't wait to start shedding the pounds. I just did my measurements and dude it's gross. I have NEVER taken them before and I'm so grossed out with myself. I can't wait to start working hard everyday, and to FINALLY start seeing all my pounds gone! It's going to be such a HUGE change in my life! I can't wait to look like I used to many moons ago! It's going to be nice to see everyone's face once I'm skinny again. Especially my sister, who lose weight taking the over the counter weight loss pills, and NEVER worked out a day in her life. And now she can eat whatever she wants and still be super skinny. She thinks that I won't be able to do it, so I can't wait to show her that I can! Of course I'm not losing weight for her, but it'll be nice to rub it in her face, that her "Fat" sister is now skinny just like you, and that you aren't the skinny sister/daughter anymore!

My NEW plan

Hello everybody,
I know it's been a LLLLLOOOONNNNGGGG time since I last wrote. But I'm deciding to write because last night I decided to take a new diet challenge. It's called Body by Vi! It's a 90 day challenge to lose weight. My weekly goals are to lose 5 pounds a week and by 3 months I'm hoping to lose all 50 plus pounds that I would like to lose! I could use everyone's prayers and support! I'll keep updating everyone on how I'm doing!!!

Senior year

So today is the start of my final undergrad year! It's crazy to think that I'm finally almost done with college!!! I'm glad though, it's been a crazy 4 years! Well 3 cause I'm entering my 4th year! Anyway, I'm so glad to finally be almost done with college!

Why????

Why does everything have to go from perfect to crap...I had such an amazing day yesterday and now I've had the worst day. Work was by far one of the worst days in a while, my gm said I don't need to eat, you think I don't hear that everyday of my life about my weight issues? I'm so sick of hearing everyone tell me that I'm fat and I need to lose weight, it doesn't help me. From my family, to my boyfriends family and to my job it's just not something I want to hear anymore. I know I'm overweight and not what I used to be, but it's not something that I want to hear every day, I'm reminded every time I look in that mirror and it's so hard for me. But I still just wish that everyone would stop. I just don't know how much more I can take before I have a huge break down, cause I'm already getting close. And now my sister is accusing me of stealing her stupid $40 face wash and it's just getting on my last nerve. Today is just not the best day that I've had and I'm starting to lose my patience about everything. I'm trying so hard to stay cool but if I hear I'm fat and need to lose weight one more time I don't know if I'll be able to stay calm and collected with it anymore. Sorry to let out my aggression on you guys, but it's the best way of dealing with it. Please pray that I find the strength to work hard and lose weight so everyone and their mother can stop saying I'm fat and that I need to lose weight, I know I do, I know I'm overweight, gosh people STOP REMINDING ME.

Rays vs. Yankees

So on Sunday August 1 we went to the Tampa Bay Rays vs. The New York Yankees game which was totally sold out but yet was totally fun! Def not a huge fan of American League Baseball but it was still a lot of fun! The bullpen was on the field which was crazy cause I'm not used to that. I think one of the funniest things was when this major drunk guy was I think trying to climb over the chairs and tripped on one and ended up falling down 2 rows and scared everyone cause he hit his head and wasn't moving, yeah not so funny when you think about it, but the whole drunk thing made it funny! After a little while he started moving which was a good thing! Anyway, it was my first Yankees game and it was so much fun watching the top two American League teams. The only downfall was we didn't get to see A-Rod hit his 600th home run which would have been cool!

Busch Gardens Trip

So on Saturday July 31, 2010 I was at Busch Gardens which was 111 degrees well that is with the Heat index and what not. The only down fall was they wouldn't open all parts of the park until 30 minutes after it opened. So we were stuck riding the stupid wooden roller coaster which was not my favorite one due to all the wood and the shaking of the coaster and what not. Then after they opened the rest of the park we went on the Shiekra which was one of the coolest coasters that I've been on in a while! We got to ride that twice in a row along with all the other coasters! We were crazy and got to the park at 8:45 which was cool cause we got to see this cool band who plays when they open! LOL! Anyway we went on two water rides which was cool! Then we left at 6PM after watching 3 really cool shows! One was about how animals and humans can get along together! Which was really cute. The second show we saw was this 4D movie which was interesting and refreshing after all the heat and what not. Then the last show was the craziest we saw there. There was this guy who would balance a bunch of stuff on his chin, the craziest was the ladder! LOL!

Tampa Bound

So tomorrow morning I'm finally heading towards the other side of the coast, no not Cali, but Tampa! I'll be over there for four days and enjoying a romantic dinner, Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay Rays vs. The New York Stankees, I mean Yankees, then Monday I'm heading home! I can't wait to finally be able to go on a vacation seeing as how the last vacation was in January when my amazing boyfriend took me to see Cirque!!!! And for all of you who haven't seen it, I'd say it's worth taking a trip up to Orlando to go see it! Anyway back to Tampa! I totally can't wait to finally go back to Busch Gardens after like 10 years or so. The last time I went was in 8th grade and I was like 12 or 13! WOW can't believe it's been that long but anyway idunno what else to post so I guess I'll put an updated from Tampa when I get up there! Pray for my saftey on the way up!

Our win vs. the Rockies

So Mike and I went to a Marlin's game where they won in the bottom of the 9th vs. the Rockies!!!! Took Mike and I long enough to go to a game where we won!

Hello...Welcome to my Wendy's

Today was an interesting day at Wendy's...I had to wake up at 7 am to go to work at 8 am to go to a meeting a corporate and teach them about this new program called My Wendy's. It isn't the most interesting thing, all we say is Welcome to my Wendy's how may I help you...so the meeting involved like 40 GM's and a couple of District Managers, which was mildly interesting. We walked in shaking hands and saying, "Welcome to my Wendy's, my name is Jenna" we got some interesting looks when we were saying that to them. Then Craig (the regional manger) had us sit in the front of all the GM's and DM's and answer some questions, which we totally lied about and pulled out of our butts because we never do the huddles and all that stuff...so after we answer the questions, this one manger goes can we see a huddle? then looks away pretending she never said anything. So yet again we pull more answers out of our behind and do a huddle (which we never do). Finally when it was all done we got to head back to Boca, did I mention we were in the boon docks of South Florida? So we had a 30 minute ride back to my store where we were able to get lunch on my manager! I had the yummy potato with my first sour cream ever! Then anyway I had to work for 5 hours after that, but they let me leave at like 3:45 which was great! LOL!

Okay, anyway, that's enough of my Wendy's story!!!

Lost and Found then Scratched

So my glasses went missing for a week and thinking that the people at my work decided to play a cruel and unusual prank on me so I can be blind at work and not be able to see anything. Then of course right as I'm about to leave to go ahead and buy my new glasses so I'll be able to see my puppy finds my glasses because she lost her ball playing fetch! Which is a great thing, I was finally able to read and not have a horrible migraine at work! Then when I finally go back to work with my glasses after a week I can see and do my work without a headache they get scratched about an hour and a half before I get to go home and relax and finish reading my book! So now thanks to this girl at my work, who I believe doesn't like me scratched them and allowed me to have my head aches back. But it's okay, now I have an excuse to ask Mike to kiss my head all better!
